Apparently it's not going to be this week. The forecast for the week is calling for highs in the 60's. I personally like the weather on the cool side but I've heard so many people wishing for warmer weather. Maybe by July?

Take A Memory Home With You

Many people who come to Harrisville come for the beautiful beaches and create wonderful memories. So why not stop in to Maggies On Main and pick up a beautiful Sand Snowflake that are made from the beaches of Harrisville. You will not find these snowflakes any where else in Michigan. Makes a wonderful gift and will be a memory to take home with you. Take it home and hang this beautiful ornament. Every time you look at it, it will remind you of the fun you had on our beaches. I collected this sand personally looking back on all the memories I made and the fun that I had growing up on the beaches of Harrisville. As a reminder as we approach Memorial weekend to remember all of those who have sacrificed to make this country great and free so that we can all enjoy traveling and vacationing, worry free. Click the link to see these beautiful Sand Snowflakes: http://www.beachsandsnowflakes.com/ All Sand Snowflakes come in a beautiful box with a map of the beach were the sand was collected.

Memorial Weekend Already?
I hope everyone has had a great week. I've been so busy at the shop... rearranging, moving displays, getting new merchandise in. Seems like just yesterday it was snowing and cold, well it's still cold but at least there is no snow! And next week is Memorial weekend?! It seems to have arrived in a blink of an eye.
I just wanted everyone to know the hours for Memorial weekend. I will be open Sunday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., and Monday (Memorial Day) 10 a.m - 4 p.m. Normal shop hours Friday and Saturday.
I hope and pray for good weather for all you campers, boaters, and vacationers! See you next week.

Happy Mothers Day
This stone was placed in the garden by my father shortly after my mother died in 2004. It's still there today. It reminds me of how important my mother was to me, and how true the saying is on the stone. To all the mothers out there, HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!
"If I had a flower for each time I thought of My Mother, I could walk in my garden forever".
"When someone special becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure"

LighthouseA symbol of strength and guidance, stoically standing through rough seas so that others may stay out of danger. Bringer of light in the dark, ray of hope in the storm.
