Fw:!

Anyone that emails me knows that I just hate getting the "Fw:, Fw:, Fw:" messages! Typically I delete them without ever reading them. But, I happend to get this "Fw:, Fw:, Fw:" email today and I just happened to open it and read. I actually liked it! Which is why I'm posting it today on my blog. I thought it made many valid points.....

14. Dream more while you are awake.

33. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.

34. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.

35. The best is yet to come.

36. When you awake alive in the morning, thank GOD for it.
37. Your Inner most is always happy. So, be happy!

Harrisville Buzzing With Activity

Happy Easter everyone! It was nice to see all the visitors that were into the shop this week. Thank you to everyone that stopped in to pick up a gift, card, or just stopped in to say hello and to meet granddaughter, Jacalyn. It sure is nice seeing everyone returning to their cabins and cottages. I do believe we have finally seen the last of the snow and isn't it wonderful to see the flowers coming up? Next week Harrisville State Park opens. I'm looking forward to meeting all you campers! Come in and say hello! One never knows what they will find when entering my store. My goal is to fill every nook and cranny in the store and I have been told that I am very successful in accomplishing this task. I carry a wonderful eclectic blend of gift items and home decor. Visitors to my store often comment on how warm and inviting Maggies On Main is. I welcome everyone with a smile and a good day. If assistance and ideas are needed I am more than happy to help, otherwise, I allow visitors to leisurely browse and, more often than not, have a quick chat about something that leaves us all laughing. :-)

April Webkinz Arrived Today!!!

The Webkinz for April are: White Swan, Ring-Tailed Lemur, Boston Terrier, and Lil Kinz Polka Back Fish.

Coincidence or Fate? What Do You Believe?

The weather today outside was frightening, but those who came in today to my shop were very enlightening. I met a woman today who came into my shop that attended the same school where I grew up in my younger childhood days and she happened to mention my older sisters name, as one of her school friends. And I suddenly realized that the world had just become smaller because you see, my sister died tragically a few years ago. And we both realized at that moment that we had both lost somebody who meant something special to us in our lives. This woman didn't know me, and I didn't know her. It had been 40 plus years that she had gone to school with my sister, and there she stood at my shop, 200 miles from our childhood home, honoring my sisters name. I can only hope that I could be remembered as a woman of integrity, such as my sister. This is why I love meeting new people!
